Preparation for Abdomen Scans
- Do NOT eat for 6 hours prior to the examination time.
- Do NOT drink any fizzy drinks.
- Drink one liter of still water (2 pints) one hour before your scan.
- Medication can be taken as normal.
- If diabetic, please stick to your normal routine.
