Pelvic Health Check Questions

Do I need a GP referral?

No. You can book directly online, by phone or by WhatsApp.

Can I request a female sonographer?

Yes. Please mention this at booking. Availability may vary by date and location, but the clinic will try to accommodate the request.

Is transvaginal ultrasound mandatory?

No. It is only performed with consent. Transvaginal ultrasound often gives more detailed pelvic images, but you can decline it.

What happens if something abnormal is found?

You receive a formal report and the GP Strategy Session can guide referral, follow-up imaging, specialist review or further tests as appropriate.
