1 Introduction

1.1-These terms tell you the rules for using our website www.londonsono.com, which is operated by Ultrasound London Limited. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 07956078 and our registered office is at 48 Woods Avenue Hatfield AL10 8NA.

1.2- www.londonprivateultrasound.com , www.privateultrasoundscanlondon.com , www.medicalultrasoundscan.com , Extreme Ultrasound and London Private Ultrasound are trading names of Ultrasound London Limited.

6.2-If you are a consumer user, please note that we only provide our site for domestic and private use. You agree not to use our site for any commercial or business purposes, and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

8 Important Information

This website contains material that is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, appearance, layout, look, and graphics, and any reproduction is prohibited.

All of our ultrasound scan services are optional and you will be provided with either a “Medical Follow-Up” or “No-Further-Action” recommendation result on the day. You must be at least 16 years old at the time of booking your scan and you may be asked to provide identification before the scan.

Other than pregnancy, you should have no existing medical condition and You should tell us of any treatment pending related to the scan service you are booking.

The ultrasound practitioner performing your scan will act upon their “duty of care” towards you and, with your permission, we will provide a copy report to your GP or other healthcare professional.

NIPT.
In case of “insufficient fetal cfDNA for accurate NIPT evaluation” we offer free blood draws up to two times, after which we offer a refund of £295.00 ( Blood test portion of the NIPT Harmony test ).

FNA – (Fine Needle Aspiration)
Please Note – the full price of £700.00 is payable every time an FNA (Fine Needle Aspiration) is performed. This includes cases when the Lab. Results are inconclusive and a re-test has to be done.

9 Cancelations and Rescheduling

9.1- You must email us if you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment by giving a minimum notice of 24 hours at [email protected].

9.2- If you reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged an administration fee of £80.00. * Please note that appointments will not be changed with less than 6 (six) hours’ notice.

9.3- If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, you will be charged an administration fee of £80.00.

9.4- If you reschedule your appointment with more than 24 hours’ notice, you will not be charged any fees.

9.5- If you cancel your appointment with more than 24 hours’ notice, you will be charged an administration fee of £25.00.

9.6- If your appointment is booked within 24 hours (same-day or next day), then any payments made are non-refundable and thus any cancellations of the appointment will result in the loss of the payments made.

9.7- If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, your appointment is automatically canceled and any payment you have made toward that appointment is Non-Refundable.

9.8- If you miss your appointment, you will be liable for full payment of your scan and you will not be refunded for any fees/monies paid.

10 Late Attendance

10.1-Please arrive on time or earlier, as if you are late for your appointment (more than 15 minutes), unfortunately, it will still end as normal at the allocated time and you will not be refunded.

10.2-If you miss your appointment, (See cancelations) you will be liable for full payment of your scan.

11 Guests

A maximum of one guest is allowed at your appointment. Please refrain from bringing children under 5 as we have no facilities to care for them.

12 Price and payment terms

12.1-The price for the Scan will be the price published in the London Private Ultrasound price list published and updated from time to time on www.londonprivateultrasound.com .

12.2-Payment shall be made before the scan is done and London Private Ultrasound is not bound to deliver a scan report until paid for by the customer.

13 Scan report

13.1- London Private Ultrasound will supply a report via email(in 12 to 36 hours after scan) in pdf format is rare cases that you do not have an email you can request your report in paper format, including images and/or measurement results taken during the Scan. If a blood test result is also required to complete the scan report, London Private Ultrasound or its authorized pathology laboratory partner will supply this to you within 7 to 14 working days of your appointment.

13.2-If our Ultrasound Practitioner recommends a medical follow-up as an outcome of the Scan,

London Private Ultrasound recommends you provide us (by writing or email), with your GP’s email address.

With your permission, London Private Ultrasound will also send a copy of the Scan report directly to your -GP.

13.3-If, in our Ultrasound Practitioner’s opinion, a re-scan appointment is needed to obtain the results for the primary purpose of the Scan, you will be advised on the optimum time for you to return. In most cases, one re-scan appointment is offered free of charge, however, this cannot be guaranteed. If you choose not to have a free re-scan appointment, a minimum charge for the original Scan time will still apply.

14 Service provided

If London Private Ultrasound provides a health scan. Our Ultrasound Practitioners are not in possession of your medical records or history and are therefore not in a position to medically advise you on any diagnostic results. You should always seek the advice of your General Practitioner and/or Consultant with any questions you may have regarding the Scan, in particular, if your symptoms persist.

15 Miscellaneous

15.1-Bookings for the Scan is allotted a specific time slot. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the Scan is carried out at the allocated time, appointment times cannot be guaranteed.

15.2- London Private Ultrasound accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal effects howsoever caused whilst customers are on the premises.

15.3- London Private Ultrasound reserves the right to modify the service without notice from time to time. If, by doing so, the service is materially different then you will have a right of cancellation.

15.4- London Private Ultrasound will not be responsible or liable for any incidental or consequential loss or damage:

  1. Caused by any act or omission by London Private Ultrasound or its employees, servants or agents.

    1. Suffered by any person acting or failing to act as a result of the contents of any scan or any information supplied in connection with the Scan. Nothing in this clause shall exclude or restrict any liability for death or personal injury arising from the negligence of Private Ultrasound Scan London.

15.5- London Private Ultrasound will not be responsible for any breach of this contract caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

16 Submitting Patient information

The information you submit is taken as the truth and will form your medical information which we will keep in your file.
