Hip Ultrasound Scan-Two Limbs

Hip Ultrasound Scan-Two Limbs
Price: £345

London Private Ultrasound (LPU) offers a hip and thigh ultrasound scan to the male and female patients over 18 years old. Hip pain due to Sport-related injuries, trauma, bursitis, or arthritis is the most common reason for having a hip ultrasound diagnostic examination.

Ultrasound is a useful modality and first choice in the assessment of the hip joint to detect and localize pathologies. Hip and thigh ultrasound is a dynamic, fast, and affordable scan for evaluation of hip and thigh injuries, arthritis, or hip wear and tear. This page is for a single side of your hip to be scanned if you would prefer both to be scanned please visit our Bilateral Hip Ultrasound Appointment Booking page.

Private Hip Ultrasound

Private hip ultrasound can provide useful information on a wide range of pathologic conditions affecting hip joint components and thigh like tendons and muscles, ligaments, bursae and cysts, synovial space, articular cartilage, joint capsule, bone surface, surrounding soft tissues, peripheral nerve, or vascular abnormalities. Color and power Doppler hip ultrasound can be used to measure neovascularization within the synovial lining of the joints, tendons, and soft-tissue masses.

We are also able to provide injections for aspiration and further information on the ultrasound guided hip injections cost and procedure available by contacting our experienced team of clinicians, who can guide you on the suitability of the procedures and preparations as well as provide initial consultations with a specialist prior to your appointment.
