Start with your concern—not a generic checklist

Medical symptoms rarely fit neatly into one test. Our condition-led packages bring together the investigations most relevant to a particular concern, helping you avoid disconnected appointments and giving the reviewing clinician a more complete clinical picture.

01

Symptom-led

Choose a pathway designed around symptoms such as pain, swelling, bleeding, fatigue, hormonal change or urinary concerns.

02

Risk-led

Explore focused screening where family history, age, medication, lifestyle or a previous abnormal result creates a specific concern.

03

Clinician-reviewed

Where included, results from imaging, blood tests and clinical assessment are interpreted together with practical next-step guidance.

Coordinated investigations

What may form part of your pathway

Not every package includes every investigation. Each package page shows its specific components, price and appointment sequence.

01

Clinical consultation

A focused history and symptom review can help place test findings in context and determine whether further assessment is appropriate.

02

Diagnostic ultrasound

Radiation-free imaging may assess organs, soft tissues, blood vessels or pelvic structures depending on the selected pathway.

03

Blood investigations

Selected packages include targeted biochemical, hormonal, inflammatory, metabolic or organ-function markers.

04

Cardiac and vascular tests

Some pathways may include ECG, echocardiography or Doppler ultrasound where cardiovascular assessment is relevant.

05

Integrated reporting

Where a package combines tests, results can be reviewed together rather than treated as isolated findings.

06

Onward guidance

If a result needs further attention, the report may support GP follow-up, specialist referral, additional imaging or urgent escalation.

Who it is for

When a focused health check may help

✓ You have persistent or unexplained symptoms

✓ A condition runs in your family

✓ A previous result needs further investigation

✓ You want a timely second opinion

✓ You need coordinated tests in one pathway

✓ You want a clear baseline for ongoing care

Honest clinical scope

What a health package can—and cannot—do

A focused package can provide valuable diagnostic information, but screening is not a guarantee that every condition will be detected or excluded.

What it can help with

  • Investigating selected symptoms and risk factors
  • Identifying structural or biochemical abnormalities
  • Providing a documented baseline for future comparison
  • Supporting a clinically appropriate onward referral
  • Bringing related tests into one organised pathway

What it does not replace

  • Emergency assessment for severe or rapidly worsening symptoms
  • Definitive cancer diagnosis or tissue biopsy
  • MRI, CT, endoscopy or other tests not listed in the package
  • Ongoing management by your NHS GP or specialist
  • Personal medical advice before a clinician has assessed you

Results and next steps

From appointment to a clear plan

Exact timing varies by package, laboratory processing and whether specialist review is included.

01

Attend

Your history is confirmed and the investigations listed in your chosen package are completed.

02

Initial findings

Where appropriate, the clinician may explain preliminary imaging findings during the visit.

03

Written results

Imaging reports are commonly provided within 24 hours; some blood or specialist tests take longer.

04

Clinical direction

Your report explains relevant findings and advises on routine, specialist or urgent follow-up where required.

Patient questions

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about choosing, attending and understanding a condition-focused health package.

How is this different from a full health check?

+

A general health check reviews broad aspects of wellbeing. These packages focus on a particular symptom, condition or risk factor and select investigations accordingly.

Do I need a GP referral?

+

No. Most packages can be booked directly. Bring previous reports, medication details or referral letters that could help the clinician understand your history.

How do I choose the right package?

+

Start with your main symptom, known condition or risk factor. Compare the tests listed on each package page. If two packages seem suitable, call 020 7101 3377 before booking so the team can guide you.

Can the tests be completed on the same day?

+

Many investigations can be coordinated in one visit. Some clinical consultations, specialist tests or follow-up imaging may require another appointment; the individual package page explains its pathway.

How quickly will I receive my results?

+

Ultrasound reports are commonly available within 24 hours. Routine blood results may be available within one to three working days, while specialist markers can take longer. Timings vary by package.

Can a health package diagnose cancer?

+

Screening may identify concerning findings or risk markers, but no package can definitively confirm or exclude cancer. Diagnosis may require specialist examination, MRI or CT, endoscopy, biopsy or other investigations.

What happens if my results are abnormal?

+

Your report will explain the findings and recommended next steps. Depending on the result, this may include GP follow-up, specialist review, additional imaging or urgent care.

What should I bring to my appointment?

+

Bring photographic identification, a current medication list, relevant referral letters, previous imaging reports, recent blood results and a brief note of your symptoms and medical history.

Will I need to fast or have a full bladder?

+

Preparation depends on the tests included. Abdominal imaging may require fasting, while pelvic or urinary imaging may require a full bladder. Follow the instructions in your booking confirmation.

Can I request a female clinician?

+

A female clinician may be available for selected scans upon request, subject to the clinic, package and appointment schedule. Contact the team before booking if this is important to you.

Can I use private medical insurance?

+

Coverage varies between insurers and policies. Obtain authorisation before attending and confirm whether the entire package or only specific diagnostic components are covered.

Does this replace my NHS GP or specialist?

+

No. The service provides private diagnostic assessment and reporting. Ongoing care, prescriptions, monitoring or treatment may still need to be arranged with your NHS GP or an appropriate specialist.

When should I seek emergency care instead?

+

Call 999 or attend A&E for severe chest pain, severe breathlessness, collapse, signs of stroke, very heavy bleeding, sudden severe pain, suspected pulmonary embolism or rapidly worsening illness.
