Can an ultrasound diagnose PCOS?
No. Ultrasound can show ovarian features associated with PCOS, but the result should be interpreted together with symptoms, menstrual history and hormone blood tests.
What is the difference between Gold, Premium and Platinum?
Gold is a focused baseline package at £575. Premium is £695 and adds a broader hormonal and thyroid profile. Platinum is £999 and provides the most comprehensive blood and hormonal assessment.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. You can self-refer and book the PCOS Health Check directly.
Can I request a female sonographer?
Yes. Female sonographer availability can be requested for the pelvic ultrasound, subject to clinic and appointment availability.
When is the GP consultation?
The GP consultation takes place on the first Friday after your test day so the available blood and ultrasound results can be reviewed together.
Do I need to fast?
