What is included in your appointment
Breast Ultrasound Scan
A high-resolution ultrasound of both breasts and the axillary lymph nodes, performed by one of our specialist sonographers. Breast ultrasound is the primary imaging modality for assessing lumps, asymmetry, and tissue changes, particularly in younger women and those with denser breast tissue. It is safe, radiation-free, and provides detailed real-time images of breast anatomy.
Mammogram (Digital X-ray Imaging)
A bilateral digital mammogram is included in your One-Stop appointment. Mammography provides a complementary view of breast tissue and remains an essential tool in the detection and characterisation of breast abnormalities, particularly in women over 40. Together with ultrasound, it offers a more complete picture than either modality alone.
Consultation with Mr Debashis Ghosh
Following your imaging, you will have a face-to-face consultation with Mr Debashis Ghosh. He will review your scan results and mammogram, perform a clinical breast examination, discuss his findings with you directly, and provide a clear management plan. By the time you leave, you will have both detailed imaging results and an expert surgical opinion, a process that can take many weeks through other routes.
Breast Core Biopsy (if clinically required)
If Mr Debashis Ghosh determines during your consultation that a tissue sample is needed, a breast core needle biopsy can be arranged at our clinic, often on the same day. Please note that the biopsy is not included in the £949 package price and is charged separately. Not all patients will require a biopsy, the clinical need is determined by Mr Debashis Ghosh based on his findings on the day.

For those where an abnormality is detected or further investigation is needed, Mr Debashis Ghosh will outline the recommended next steps directly and clearly. This may include a biopsy at our clinic on the same or next day, referral for specialist surgical care, or a follow-up appointment.
A full written report and consultation letter will be provided after your visit.
