🩸 What is Amenorrhea?
Amenorrhea is the absence of menstruation.
It is classified into two main types:
- Primary amenorrhea – when menstruation hasn’t started by age 15
- Secondary amenorrhea – when a woman who previously had regular periods stops menstruating for three months or more
