Why choose one-stop?

More efficient than separate scan and consultation appointments

Separate pathways often require one appointment for imaging, another for review and a further appointment for treatment. The one-stop clinic integrates scan findings and clinical opinion in real time.

Separate pathway often means

  • Book ultrasound first and wait for a report
  • Return for consultant review later
  • Repeat the same history to another clinician
  • Injection usually requires another appointment
  • More delay before treatment starts

One-stop clinic provides

  • Single integrated 60-minute visit
  • Consultant assessment and ultrasound together
  • Treatment plan based on live imaging
  • Same-visit injection where appropriate
  • Same-day combined report and next steps
Transparent pricing

One-Stop Orthopaedic Package

One all-inclusive package price for the integrated scan and consultant assessment.

Included

Imaging and consultation

One body area assessed by specialist ultrasound and correlated with orthopaedic examination.

Optional where suitable

Injection and onward care

Injection therapy, surgical referral, physiotherapy planning or metabolic support may be discussed depending on findings.

Honest scope and urgent symptoms

This is a private orthopaedic and MSK assessment clinic. It is not an emergency service and does not replace urgent assessment for major trauma, suspected fracture, severe infection, hot swollen joint with fever, limb weakness, loss of bladder/bowel control, severe unrelenting pain, or a cold/blue limb.

Some conditions may require MRI, X-ray, blood tests, surgical referral, physiotherapy, repeat ultrasound, emergency assessment or specialist orthopaedic management depending on clinical context. Injection therapy is only offered when clinically appropriate.

FAQ

One-Stop Orthopaedic & MSK Clinic — common questions

What is included in the One-Stop Orthopaedic Package?

The package includes dynamic MSK ultrasound of one body area, consultant orthopaedic assessment, physical examination, diagnosis correlated with imaging, personalised treatment plan and written report.

How much does the package cost?

The One-Stop Orthopaedic Package is listed at £399 all-inclusive for the combined scan and consultant assessment.

Do I need an MRI before booking?

In many tendon, ligament, muscle and superficial joint problems, high-resolution dynamic ultrasound is enough to guide diagnosis and treatment planning. If MRI is needed, this can be arranged or recommended after assessment.

Can I have a joint injection on the same day?

If your scan and orthopaedic assessment show that injection therapy is appropriate, it can often be arranged during the same visit under ultrasound guidance. Injection fees may be separate depending on the treatment type.

What body parts can be assessed?

Any single MSK region can be assessed, including shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle, foot, hamstring, calf, tendon, ligament, bursa or soft-tissue lump.

Do I need a GP referral?

No GP referral is required. You can self-refer directly and book online.

Does ultrasound replace MRI?

No. Ultrasound is excellent for many tendons, muscles, ligaments, bursae and superficial joints, especially dynamically. MRI may still be needed for deep joints, complex internal derangement or surgical planning.

Is this suitable after a sports injury?

Yes. It is suitable for many sports injuries, tendon problems, muscle tears, bursitis, ligament sprains and return-to-sport questions.

Is this suitable for emergency trauma?

No. Major trauma, suspected fracture, severe infection, hot swollen joint with fever, severe weakness, or a cold/blue limb requires urgent emergency assessment.
