Private Kidney Function Test

Our Private Kidney Function Health Check is designed to provide an in-depth assessment of your kidney health and overall well-being. This comprehensive package combines advanced diagnostic imaging, consultations, blood tests, and urine analysis to deliver a thorough renal health evaluation.

Package Includes:

1. KUB Ultrasound: A comprehensive ultrasound examination of the Kidneys, Bladder, and Urinary Tract will be conducted. For men, the examination also includes the Prostate gland. This non-invasive imaging technique provides detailed images, aiding in the detection of kidney stones, cysts, or urinary tract abnormalities.

2. GP Consultation (15 min): You’ll have a dedicated consultation with our general practitioner, providing an opportunity to discuss any kidney-related concerns, symptoms, or risk factors. Your GP will conduct a thorough examination and review your medical history to personalize your care plan.

3. Blood Test: A comprehensive panel of blood tests will be conducted to assess various aspects of your kidney health, including:

• Haematology: Full Blood Count (FBC), Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR).
• Biochemistry:
  • Kidney Function Tests: Sodium, Potassium, Chloride, Bicarbonate, Urea, Creatinine, estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR).
  • Liver Function Tests: Bilirubin, Alkaline Phosphatase (Alk Phos), Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST), Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT), Gamma-Glutamyltransferase (Gamma GT), Total Protein, Albumin, Globulin.
  • Cardiac/Muscle Enzymes: Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH), Creatine Kinase (CK).
  • Bone Markers: Calcium, Phosphate, Uric Acid.
  • Glucose, Triglycerides, Cholesterol.
  • Iron (Total Iron Binding Capacity included).

4. Urine Test: A comprehensive urine analysis will be performed, including urine chemistry and infection screening, as well as the Urine Microalbumin/Creatinine Ratio, to assess kidney function and screen for any signs of urinary tract infection or kidney damage.
